Mobile reception can be limited in rural areas, but Florence Talbot House has Starlink high-speed internet throughout the property, ensuring fast and reliable connectivity during your stay.
Are pets welcome at Florence Talbot House?
No, we are unable to accommodate pets at Florence Talbot House. Thank you for understanding.
Is the property suitable for families with children?
Absolutely! Florence Talbot House is family-friendly with spacious indoor and outdoor areas. Children will love exploring the farm. Please supervise children around the working cattle property and ensure all gates are closed.
What should we know about staying on a working farm?
Please do not approach or feed the livestock, close all gates behind you, and supervise children around the property. Enjoy observing farm life from a safe distance.
Do we have the property to ourselves?
Florence Talbot House is designed with your privacy in mind. The property features a separate guest entrance and driveway, with an acoustic door separating the owners' private quarters. We are generally off the farm on weekends, though there may be occasional overlap — we'll always communicate this in advance.
Is there grocery shopping nearby?
Dungog is just 10 minutes away and has supermarkets, cafes, and local shops for all your needs.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you need different times, please contact us in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs
What is your cancellation policy?
For cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival, we offer a full refund. Cancellations within 30 days are subject to our standard cancellation terms. Please contact us to discuss specific circumstances.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
